What a bad day.

Today at my work…they have cancelled access to facebook. Which I gather most works have already done…so we were slow off the mark there.

But this doublie sucks because we are expected not to take lunch breaks…even though we are not paid for one hour of the day. So we were sort of ok not leaving for lunch and then messing around on the inter-min-et for an hour. And now they are talking about us working late until 8pm…for free!

Do they think we are suckers?

It is totally weird, I think because everyone in Londres is happy to be having a job at the moment….they feel like they have us over some kind of barrel.

I am a bit mad really.

I’ve just been at the launch of the hot (and cool) new accessory of the summer - Philos-o-Face! Now you can wear your favourite philosopher on your sleeve (or top/cardigan/jacket etc). Or, with 20 to collect, you can match your mood to the ideas of some of humanity’s greatest thinkers. Just lost your job? Express your discontent at the capitalist system with a Karl Marx brooch. Boyfriend wants to keep you in the kitchen? Tell him to go fuck himself by wearing Simone De Beauvoir over your heart. By wearing one history’s greatest minds people will never be left wondering what is on your mind. Available at Kids In Berlin on Victoria Street, North Melbourne, and Corky Saint Clair, in the arcade underneath Flinders Street Station. Or, if you’re not in Melbourne drop Prue a message at the Philos-o-Face Myspace. Don’t have Myspace? Then write to me at grant.wyeth@gmail.com, and I will give you Prue’s contact details. I should totally be in advertising.
Ohmigod….Grant you have to get me Nietzsche for xmas.

Cramming is my preferred study technique….What is not stored in the temporary spaces of my brain right now…is not worth knowing.

I have crammed so much in that i wanna puke and when i do puke it is just gonna be facts that come up.

I got this photo from the NY times website…I really like Michelle Obama’s style.
She dresses cool and colourful. I totally loved everyones matching election night outfits. Michelle’s dress wasn’t the most amazing from the side it kind of chopped her up into weird unflattering shapes…but it is super dramatic and front on quite stunning. That’s what I think….we clear?

Last night I was out at dinner with the head of a very big Champagne house…like one of the biggest. Umm I had no idea what to talk to him about… I am pretty sure sitting me next to him was someone’s attempt to get me fired, because I do tend to misbehave…shoot my mouth off etc.

So I talked to him about karaoke! He has never done it but I was all you strike me as a Bruce Springsteen kind of guy….he was all yeah!

American Idol

Ok, I am totally sick of all these people trying to kill my buzz. I am all like, I have really cared about this and followed this election for months, and  all of a sudden you chaps are coming at me with opinions that are crap and I know they are crap because I have been following the election suckers….listening to the candidate speeches, debates and shit.

Firstly…this whole arguement that Obama may not be a great President and he still has to prove him self stinks. No shit he has to prove himself, but I am pretty sure he doesn’t think he has just won American Idol.

I am so happy….Oh my I am happy.

I woke up to the best news I have woken up to in the past 8 years, most likely my life. I knew it before I did anything….I knew Obama had won.

I turned on the telly, and then I cried.

And then I went out and bought every newspaper for my newspaper collection.

This totally rules….
